Mindfulness in Wild Places

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO STORM DENNIS THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY 23RD FEBRUARY.

Join Mike and Manx Wildlife Trust officer Adam Denard for these new monthly wellbeing walks, exploring some of the Island’s most beautiful locations.

Neuroscience now confirms what we’ve always suspected: we are hardwired for the great outdoors. In fact, just 20 minutes a day in nature significantly reduces our stress hormone levels.

We can further enhance our appreciation of nature through the practice of Mindfulness, which makes us more available and present to the sights, sounds and ever changing seasons.

This focussed immersion in the natural world results in a lasting experience of wellbeing, interconnection and positive mental health.
