What does it mean to be spiritually awakened?
What are the main aspects of spiritual awakening and how can we cultivate them? Poet and spiritual psychologist Steve Taylor will explore some of the themes of his recent books The Calm Center and The Leap.
He will describe of the main findings from his years of research into spiritual awakening and illustrate these with exercises and meditations. He will read some of his poetic meditations, highlighting the importance of acceptance, presence and dissolving psychological attachments. He will also explore the evolutionary aspects of awakening, showing that we have a responsibility to move towards awakening in order to safeguard the future of our planet.

About Steve:
Steve Taylor PhD is a senior lecturer in psychology at Leeds Beckett University and the author of several best-selling books on spirituality and psychology, including The Fall, Waking From Sleep and The Leap.
For the last five years he has been included in Mind, Body, Spirit magazine’s list of the 100 most spiritually influential living people. His books have been published in 19 languages, while his articles and essays have been published in over 40 academic journals, magazines and newspapers.
