Mindfulness for Pain and Discomfort: A 6-Week Training Course

The best way out is always through
-Robert Frost

Mindfulness is an ancient form of mind training backed by a wealth of fascinating neuroscience. As well as providing practical methods for cultivating optimum mental and emotional health, it is also a highly-effective way of managing chronic pain and physical discomfort.

Clinical trials have shown that Mindfulness meditation can reduce chronic pain by 57%. Accomplished meditators can reduce it by over 90%. The skills developed through Mindfulness training can help manage a wide range of diseases such as cancer (and the side effects of chemotherapy), heart disease, diabetes and arthritis. It is also used for back pain, muscular pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, coeliac disease, chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome and even multiple sclerosis.

These simple methods are also effective in reducing the anxiety, depression and emotional reactivity which often accompanies physical discomfort.

This 6-Week Training Course is for anyone interested in discovering not only a more natural and holistic way to manage their pain and discomfort, but for those keen to discover a brand new relationship to life, in spite of their circumstances.
